Delightful riverside pub, dating from 1770 and named after the ancient ceremony of Swan Upping performed on the Thames each July. The songwriter Jerome Kern married the daughter of the licensee in 1910 and wrote some of his best known songs at the Swan. Recently extended and now has a famiily eating area.
